Nope! We love all dogs and cats, big and small, young and old.

  1. I would like to explain my situation and what my pet needs before becoming a client - can you call me?

Ms. Meliss' Pet Care offers pet-focused services, which means that your beloved pet will be our primary focus during each visit. This is why we request comprehensive information before we even meet. We are here to listen and learn so that we can support you with refined, high-quality service. When you fill in the New Client Application, please let us know how we can help you. We will contact you within 24 hours of applying to discuss things in detail.

  1. What are your holiday rates?

Ms. Meliss' Pet Care understands how hectic the holidays can be, so we do not charge extra during the holiday season.

  1. What discounts do you offer?

Ms. Meliss' Pet Care does offer bundle rates but does not currently offer any other discounts.

  1. Do you have a list of references?

A list of professional and personal references will be provided upon request.

  1. My 21-year-old cat doesn't walk because her claws are embedded in her pads - will you clip her nails?

It would be best that your veterinary care team at the clinic performs advanced nail-trimming needs.

  1. I have a 14-year-old Dachshund that needs regular diaper changes - will you do that?

Hygienic maintenance is available during pet sitting and drop-in appointments.

  1. I have a dog diagnosed with osteosarcoma - we want to keep him comfortable at home. What are your hospice care fees?

Cancer is an upsetting diagnosis, and we understand your desire to keep them comfortable. Your veterinary care team can determine if and when hospice care is necessary. Ms. Meliss' Pet Care can provide hospice support with written authorization from your veterinarian. Please complete the New Client Application and schedule a Meet & Greet where we will review your dog's treatment plan. Ms. Meliss' Pet Care hospice support fees vary depending on specific needs and the length of each visit.
